Practice Guidelines.

For optimal tangible benefits I recommend you:

  Preparation:

  • Read the Disclaimer & Contraindications to Breathwork, and speak to your healthcare provider if necessary.

  • Choose a practice that resonates with you (practice the same session daily for 14-21 days, before exploring a new session).

  • Find a quiet, warm and comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed.

  • Wear headphones if you have them, to improve focus and clarity.

  • Allow at least 1 hour to digest food before practising.

  • Practice with an open, honest mind and heart.

  • Set an intention before practising: think about your goals, what you’d like more of in your life and what no longer supports your growth (or use the intention suggested in the session).

  • Make a commitment to yourself.

  • Start your chosen session and follow the guidelines.

After the Session:

  • Allow yourself space to process and integrate the effects of the session.

  • You may experience emotional and / or physical shifts. This is normal - allow feelings to surface without judgment.

  • Try keeping a journal to record how you feel during and after each session. Noting anything that comes up emotionally, physically, etc. This will help you identify patterns and improvements over time.
